  • Tack för en trevlig vistelse ute på Möja. Bekvämt boende som passade oss utmärkt som var på cykelsemester. Rekommenderas varmt.

  • Had a great stay at the cozy little cabin! Everything was in order anf the location was great, perfect for our biking trip around the island.

  • The small charming cabin is just perfect for low-key escape from the city. The Möja island is decently sized and has quite a lot of facilities, it provides for a true archipelago experience, including sanitary adventures! We had a great time!

  • If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded place to stay then this is it. The cabin is only a 12 minute walk from the ferry dock and despite being a small island there is a local pizzeria, co-op, little bar and fish restaurant. We hired bikes and went for walks, it was a great place to unwind with really beautiful scenery. The cabin had everything we needed...including wifi. Not that we wanted it. A truly great stay in Moja and we were sad to leave. Mats was very helpful from the beginning and more than accommodating. Getting to the cabin was very clear and easy. A lovely little walk. We would highly recommend the cabin. It was perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay. Victoria (visited the cabin in June)

  • Very easy to find, clean and with all the basics you need. Cooking equipment is provided as well. There is an exterior WC right near to the cabin. The cottage is located near to both docks Löka and Ramsmora and the wonderful nature near it is enough to create a lovely atmosphere. Mats was very helpful and provided us with information such us where to find the supermarket or some local restaurants. I would definitely recommend it!

  • A very peaceful and cosy place to stay in Möja. The cottage is only a 15 minute walk from the ferry dock (Löka) and easy to find. It is very clean and with all the basics you need. There is an exterior WC few meters near to the cottage. the wonderful nature near is perfect to stay and relax few days. Mats gives all the informations you need and is very kind.

  • If you are looking for an quiet and peaceful getaway, we absolutely recommend Mats' lovely little cottage. We had a wonderful time staying here! The house is small but very cozy and is equipped with everything you need (except for running water which you can fetch at the main house). If this is your first time using an outhouse (it was for some of us) this might take some getting used to, but it's actually perfectly clean and easy to use. Plus, enjoying a serene summer's evening on the veranda makes you forget any worries in no time. Communication with Mats was very friendly and easy both in person as well as online. Tack så mycket! Möja is a fabulous island for those who enjoy nature. We did a lovely walk around the island which we very much recommend, takes about three hours (go clockwise as the start of the hiking path in Ramsmora is virtually invisible. There is a map at the tourist office in Berg).

  • We had a super nice weekend at Mats' place. The cottage was exactly as described, with a nice patio and cosy sleeping area. I hope we can come back, for our annual reunion, next year as well!

  • Möja is a very nice island and the cottage is well located to enjoy it ! It is small but nice and clean. It is perfect to enjoy the calm and nature of the island ! We saw a doe (or a deer !) 2 times during the breakfast and after the dinner ! There are also deckchairs and bbq to enjoy the place ! The negative point was the showers which are located at 10-15 minutes by walk.. which are collective and not free (information which wasn't indicated in the advertisement) . For us, even if it was a nice experience, the price is a bit expensive for this accomodation.

  • My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful experience in the cabin. It's cute little spot, surrounded by Nordic wilderness and equipped with the necessities you need to enjoy nature comfortably. The Island is one of the less developed in the archipelago, so it's a bit less commercial, which we really appreciated. When we visited, mid August, there were few mosquitos, except at night and no tourists (almost). A tip, however, plan ahead for showers or you might miss the opening times...

  • Overall is was a nice stay on Möja. The island is beautiful and offers the opportunity to do various activities, or to relax and do nothing at all. I would recommend renting bikes, as everything is at least a 20 minute walk from Mats place. The cottage is as described - very cosy with a privy outside for the toilet. No running water, but fresh water is available at a spigot at the main house. We hadn't realized the showers were a 15 minute walk away and cost 50 SEK each (about 6 USD / 5 GBP), so that's important to note! The deck that the cottage sits on is lovely for relaxing and gets the evening sun.

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Möja in Mats cosy cabin. The cabin is well stocked with all the amenities you will need. A visit to Wikströms Fisk is well worth it. I swam in the sea to freshen up and there is a spot about 15 mins from the cabin to do so, just note that as there is no tide in the archipelago that there is a buildup of seaweed on rocks. Thank you Mats for your responsiveness during my time.

  • Communication was very good and Mats cabin was amazing, It was of a high standard and felt like a mini house. It was a great place to have a base to explore the island, make food and hangout on the porch. The island is beautiful and both me and my friend wanted to move just after spending a couple of days here - a real highlight of my time in Sweden!

  • This place is wonderful! It's certainly cozy; just a bunk bed, kitchenette, and small table on the inside of the cabin, a deck with a table adjacent, and a nearby privy. But, it's all you need for a low-key stay in beautiful Möja. The cabin itself is tucked away at the back of a large field, up against a moss-covered rocky outcrop. Totally serene. Easy access to/from Ramsmora Brygga, and Berg or Långvik are a bike-ride or long walk away.

  • Stay at Mats's cabin if you're really looking to get away! Perfect place to use as a base for exploring the island (rent a bike!) or to just hang out and read for a few days. We never met Mats in person, but he was very accommodating and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

  • We had a great stay at Mats cabin on Moja. His directions were clear and made it easy to find the cabin. Definitely recommend renting bikes as soon as you get to the island - otherwise you will be walking a good 20-40mins every time you need to get anywhere. There is a grocery store in Berg but I would suggest bringing your own food if you are going to be arriving after hours. Overall perfect place to stay if you are looking to relax and take full advantage of the Stockholm Archipelago!

  • Staying at Mats' cabin was great, especiallysince it's location is really good! If you want to rent a bike in at the island maybe better call ahead, I could not get one for two days on arrival. Also walking from/to Berg was not far, 30 min tops walking slowly. The cabin had everything you needed (no shower as you might have noticed). Mats resonded to messages right away and everything went smoothly! There was even a litte folderwith everything to know about the cabin and the Island on the kitchen table. A pleasent experience :)

  • I had a great stay at Mat's cabin, it has a nice sun deck, and has everything I needed, including a small kitchen. It's about 10 min walk from the closest ferry pier, and 20 min walk from the main village Berg. There is no shower, but I just took a swim in the water. The toilet is a privy and outside the cabin, but it wasn't a problem for me.

  • Sehr schöne und ruhige Hütte. Naturnah. Mats hat alles, inklusive Wegbeschreibung gut organisiert. Sehr kooperativ und kreativ. Danke!

  • The cabin was fantastic, just as described :) Möja is a beautiful island and I'm glad I visited! The only downside was how short I was able to stay.

  • We spent 6 days at Matts'. The cabin is exactly as described, and it has all it's needed for a pleasant stay. The space outdoor with chairs and table is priceless, particularly on a sunny day, as it overlooks the forest. The cabin is cosy, and although there is no private shower (something very common on properties for rent on the island) you can easily get "freshened up" at the local B&B or the Sport Centre. The former is slightly cheaper. Overall, our stay was very relaxing and peaceful with plenty of things to do on the island. I had the chance to meet Mats towards the end of our stay as we had a little chat. I had the impression he is a great guy, attentive and definitely a highly recommended host.

  • The cabin was very nice, very clean with fully equipped kitchen with all imaginable kitchenware. Just like at the pictures. The surrounding is very stunning in a big meadow. It is very close to Mats house, but you have complete privacy as the houses are facing the other directions. There is an outside toilet which is very clean and comfortable and no shower but I was told you can use the facilities of local sport centres. But frankly even for me, a "city boy", the toilet worked well and 2 days without a shower was not problem at all. Biggest village of the island - Berg is just 1.5km (15 minute walk). There are 2 restaurants and a supermarket (very well supplied, as if you were in Stockholm). Moja island is very charming and you have several options to rent a bike, kayak, 3 restaurants (1 open only in summer), perfect location for a nice weekend or even a full week. Definitely recommend!!!

  • It was a cute and cosy little cabin that contained basically all you needed for a short stay. Möja is also a very nice place and it's very easy to explore the island by bike. I never met Mats in person but I talked to him on the phone and everything was very smooth. We had a great time!

  • This was a fantastic place after an exciting boat ride to möja.. exactly as described - very cozy with the cute toilet just across the porch. there is no shower but you really don't need it as you can jump into some nearby water if needed. there is even WiFi at this place if you need to plan your trips! also Mats was really flexible adjusting accommodating my stay as I made a booking mistake by a day - great host! just make sure you find the cottage as it is a little hidden behind the main house...

  • Mysig stuga i lung omgivning. Tillgång med fungerande kök. Säng med möjlighet att skjuta ut så två kan sova i nedre delen av våningssängen om man vill. Kunde då säkert fått plats med tre i denna lilla stuga. Bra och snäll värd.
